If you are a Registered Jobseekers or looking for work the Australian Government will pay for you to complete the following courses at Hospitality Training Australia.

How to enrol

STEP 1
If you would like to enrol into the Productivity Places Program please download and complete the following Confirmation of Enrolment form and return this to Hospitality Training Australia.

STEP 2
If you are registered as a Job Seeker with with an Australian Government employment service provider you will also need to complete a Job Seekers Referral Form.

Please download and complete the Job Seeker Referral Form and return this to Hospitality Training Australia along with your Confirmation of Enrolment Form.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a training place you need to be currently looking for work. You also need to be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia and be over the age of 15.

If you are registered with an employment service provider such as a Job Network or Disability Employment Network you need to contact them and get them to sign a Job Seeker Referral Form (PDF 30Kb). If you are not registered with a provider then apply directly with Hospitality Training Australia.

Hospitality Hire

Hospitality Hire is a web site that puts jobseekers in touch with hospitality employers. The site is hosted by Restaurant & Catering Victoria who have over 1100 Restaurants, Cafe and Catering companies recruiting from this web site daily.

All participants of the Productivity Places Program will have their photo taken and this will be published on the Hospitality Hire website.

Tuesday Lunch (Graduation Event)

A graduation event will be held at our restaurant in Peel Street North Melbourne during the final week of the course, where participants demonstrate their skill by providing a three course meal for invited guests.

Guest that will be present at the lunch will include members of the Executive Council of Restaurant & Catering Victoria, Chefs, Restaurateurs, Café owners and senior management from larger hospitality employers. The invited guests will have the opportunity to meet and talk to the course participants for the purpose of offering participants feedback about their skills and potentially to offer them a job.
