Course Description

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent as a qualified cook. Work would be undertaken in various hospitality enterprises where food is prepared and served, including restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, cafeterias and coffee shops. Individuals may have some responsibility for others and provide technical advice and support to a team.

Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of pastry chefs who use a wide range of patissrie skills. They use discrtion and judgement and have a sound knowlede of kitchen operations. Work would be undertaken in various hospitality enterprises where food is prepared and served, including restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, cafeterias and coffee shops.

  • SIT50313 Diploma of Hospitality:

Course Description

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent as a manager in any hospitality functional area. This individual would possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/ or the work of their team.

Work would be undertaken in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, catering operations, motels, clubs, cafes and coffee shops.

  • Course Duration: 104 weeks program (80 weeks learning, 24 weeks breaks and public holidays)
  • Course Price - $AU18,400.00, includes:

Fees & Charges for International Students

  • $AU350 Enrolment and Issue of Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) Fee, due prior to the commencement of the course (non-refundable);
  • $AU2,300 Term Tuition Fee, paybale on the day of commencement of each new term;
  • RPL Application:
    • $AU135 per unit for Cookery and Food & Beverage Units
    • $AU95 per unit for Theory based units.
  • $498.00 Overseas student Health Cover/ Year (OSHC)

Hospitality Training Australia does not accept pre paid fees from any overseas students (save for any lawful non refundable administration charge) in advance of the commencement of any course offered.
